The adventures of Darrell and Mariah..
Meet the motorcycle love birds- Darrell and Mariah
A little bit about us..
Darrell And Mariah Adventures was created to serve heaps of adventurous literature, life
tales, and perhaps direction. We are presently providing our first book, but plan on many other
life enticing adventures available to you in the future.
The book, “Ate Days of Dust” shares a personal view of an adventurous motorcycle vacation
filled with emotion, danger, anger, and love. The outcome of this trip was a clearer perspective,
and appreciation of the simpler things in life. Please enjoy this tale, as I hope it may positively
affect your wellbeing.
Let me share a little bit about ourselves. We consider ourselves lifetime motorcycle
enthusiasts. We both started riding around the age of ten and will never give it up. The joy,
satisfaction, freedom, and sanity that riding motorcycles have provided us, has not only formed
ourselves to this day, but continues to cultivate a perspective of what really matters in our lives.
We were lucky enough to meet each other at a desert race in the early spring of 2009. We
started living together in July of 2010 and married in July of 2020. We both raced the local Idaho
desert series for years after we met and have raced a handful of enduro races sprinkled in
between the years before we married.
Since then, we have not raced, but have continued to trail ride quite often. We have also done
a lot of dual sport riding, taken several big bike adventure trips, and have started dabbling in
Trials riding. Our involvement with motorcycles has always been of great focus and enjoyment
for both of us, and I do not see that ever changing.

About the book:
This story is about a particular trip we took in September of 2020 on our large adventure style motorcycles. This was one of many big adventure bike trips we have taken over the years, but it greatly stands out because of the troubled nature of our country and that of our own mental status at the time.
We knew that spending time together, and the thrill of riding motorcycles through the beauty that only nature can provide, would delivers us a clear perspective of the important things in life.
This is a story of how we came full circle with our lives, to realign what matters most to us, and keep the scales of our destiny in balance. Hopping on a motorcycle and taking a ride brings solidity to so many things and thoughts in my life. Riding a bike to its fullest extent, concentrating on traction, positioning, what line to take and the momentum to make it, is the best drug I have ever had! Reaching a point of unconscious travel is visiting heaven! I once worked out a tax return problem while 60 miles into a desert race. I’m sure not everyone gets it, and everyone has their own thing. I love to ride motorcycles and will never go without it. And doing it with my best friend and spouse is the icing on the cake!
